Joan “Joanie” Lattanzio 

Joan “Joanie” Lattanzio, 88, died November 12, 2024 in Port St. Lucie, Florida.

Mrs. Lattanzio was born in Queens, New York and resided in Port St. Lucie, Florida.

Joanie graduated from St. Mary’s Elementary School and Long Island City High School in LIC, Queens. She was a homemaker who loved playing bingo and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church and The Sons of Italy both in Port St. Lucie, Florida. She was also a member of the unofficial “Supper Club” for over 10 years.

Survivors include her daughter, Roseann “Ro” (Tom) Scibelli of Floral Park, Long Island; grandson, Thomas Scibelli of New York City; son-in-law, Joseph Seelinger; granddaughters, Kristen & Ashley Seelinger; great-grandson, Grayson Plummer; granddaughter, Gabrielle (Mike) Nesmith; great-grandsons, M.J. & Kai Nesmith; and great-granddaughter, Amayah Nesmith all of Port St. Lucie, FL. She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Lattanzio and daughter, Laura Seelinger.
