Joan Schumacher, 94, died April 2, 2014 in Port St. Lucie, Florida.
Mrs. Schumacher was born in Birmingham, England and moved to Port St. Lucie, Florida in 1972 coming from Ocean Grove, New Jersey.
She was a member of the Midway Road Baptist Church. She enjoyed teaching Sunday School and singing in the church choir.
Survivors include her son, Bruce (June Ann) Degraw of Fort Pierce, FL; daughter, Sharon (Robert) Le Compte of Port St. Lucie, FL; brother, Douglas Butler of San Francisco, CA; 4 grandsons and 10 great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Midway Road Baptist Church, Air Conditioning Fund, 1108 West Midway Road, Fort Pierce, FL 34982.
