Joan Lucille Woemmel, 86, died January 15, 2019 in Vero Beach, Florida. Mrs. Woemmel was born in St. Louis, Missouri and moved to Fort Pierce in 1976.
She volunteered over 25 years at Harbor Branch and ORCA.
Survivors include her daughters, Bobbie (Tim) Ritter of Fort Pierce, FL, Laura Woemmel of Fort Pierce, FL and Holly Woemmel of Rockledge, FL.; sons, Michael Woemmel of St. Louis, MO. and Matthew (Monica) Woemmel of Fort Pierce, FL; 7 grandchildren, Jeffrey, Tracey, Danielle, Rachyl, Matthew, Savanna, and Katie; 5 great-grandchildren; sister, Gloria Clemons of Fort Pierce, FL; and her furry companion, King. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, brother, Richard Muehling and parents.

Services: Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 17, 2019 from 5-8 PM at Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, January 18, 2019 at 10:00 AM at St. Anastasia Catholic Church, Fort Pierce. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
