Joanne Christina Murphy, 52, of Port St. Lucie, FL passed away June 15, 2022 at her home.
Joanne was born December 12, 1969 in Camden, NJ to Howard and Lorraine Murphy. She graduated from Eastern High School in Voorhees, NJ and attended Gordon Phillips Cosmetology School in Collingswood, NJ and the Devry University in Florida where she studied medical coding and billing.
Joanne also known as “Momma Jo,” “Lady” and “JoJo” was a member of St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church in Port St. Lucie, FL. JoJo loved 80’s music, soap operas and was passionate about cosmetology. Momma Jo loved spending time with her grandchildren and cooking for her family.
Survivors include mother, Lorraine Murphy of Florida; children, Alyssa Alves Desousa of New Jersey, Michael Williams of Florida, Anthony Dawkins of New Jersey, Deanna Salam of Florida, as well as Eric and Erica Dibona of Florida. She will be greatly missed by other family and friends. She was preceded by her father, Howard Murphy and brother, John Murphy.
Services will be held privately by the family.
