Jocelyn “Josie” Krantz was born on January 12th, 1974 in Miami, Florida to Charles and Linda Hysell. She met her husband Steven Krantz in elementary school. During their childhood they rode the same bus to school, went trick or treating together, and finally started dating in 9th grade. They went to prom together and shared many high school memories together. She also enjoyed working at Winn-Dixie throughout her teenage years. She married her best friend, Steven Krantz on October 14th, 1994. One year later their first child, Stephanie, was born. Eight years later their second child, Steven, was born.
Josie loved her family more than life itself. She shared her daughter Stephanie’s passion for watching classic horror movies and she loved painting and doing arts and crafts with her as well. She could be heard above all other mother’s cheering on her son Steven as he competed throughout the state in martial arts and wrestling competitions. She was truly a ‘wrestling mom” cheering on all the other boys with equal passion and she loved this sport with a passion. She even “adopted” another high school wrestler after her son graduated so she could continue attending and supporting the Fort Pierce Central’s wrestling program. She loved the Lord, Jesus and she enjoyed spending quality time with “the girls” during Bible study and church on Sunday. She loved listening and attending Big Daddy Weave concerts. She also loved the beach...a true Florida gal at heart. Josie was a woman of Faith and she knew that Heaven awaited her on the other side where there would be no more tears, no more pain, and where she would leave her wheelchair at the gate! She went home to see Jesus September 18, 2021.
She is preceded in change of address by her parents Charles and Linda Hysell. She is survived by her husband Steven Krantz, her daughter Stephanie Krantz, and her son Steven Krantz of Fort Pierce, Florida. Her niece Madison Krantz of Homestead, Fl. Her brother-in-law Kevin Krantz of Middleburg, and her niece Kalinda Ortiz of Texas.
