He was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, and was a resident of Fort Pierce for the past seven years, coming from Port St. Lucie, FL.
He was a past member of Elks Lodge 1520, past member of American Legion Post 318, worked for Maskin Freight Lines in Hartford, CT. and served in the US Air Force.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Gloria J. Criscione of Fort Pierce, FL; daughter, Susan Criscione and son, Joseph Criscione, Jr. both of Port St. Lucie, Florida; sisters, Mildred Messenger of Port St. Lucie, FL and Teresa Popovich of Monroe, CT; and two grandsons, Stephen Holick and John Criscione. He is preceded in death by his brother, Angelo Criscione.
