John W. Bobo, Sr.
John “Wally” Bobo, Sr., 87, passed away on July 2, 2022 in Vero Beach, Florida.
Mr. Bobo was born in Cordele, Georgia and resided in Vero Beach, Florida.
Wally graduated from Vero Beach High School. He was a Staff Sargent in the U.S. Army with the 82nd & 101st Airborne Division and was a Paratrooper. He owned and operated Bobo’s Antenna Service. Wally was a huge NASCAR and Florida Gators fan and was a fishing enthusiast.
Survivors include his wife, Billie Jo Bobo of Vero Beach, FL; daughters, Sherry (Richard) Wolkowsky of Port St. Lucie, FL and Debra Story of Vero Beach, FL; son, John Walter (Janet) Bobo, Jr. of Vero Beach, FL; twin brother, William Howard (Julie) Bobo of Vero Beach, FL; 9 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Irma Bobo, sister, Betty Cockane, brother, Erman Bobo, and father, Harry E. Bobo.
Family would like to thank VNA Hospice of Vero Beach for their overwhelming support and care during this difficult time.
Services: A service will take place on Thursday, July 14, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce. Inurnment will follow at White City Cemetery.
