John M. Dunn

John M. “Jack” Dunn, 84, died September 2, 2023 in Fort Pierce, Florida.

Mr. Dunn was born in Washington, DC on April 1, 1939 and resided in Fort Pierce, Florida.

Jack attended Wakefield High School before enlisting in the Army. After the Army, he drove a bus for DC transit and worked at Washington Gas Light Company. He started and ran multiple companies in plumbing and underground construction work.  He was a member of the Plumbing Heating Cooling Contractors Assn and of the Gator Basscasters.  Jack enjoyed working and fishing and believed in God and his country.  He supported several veterans’ organizations. 

Survivors include his son, John Anthony Dunn of Fort Pierce, FL; daughter, Angela Gail Dunn of Fort Pierce, FL; daughter-in-law, Staci Dunn of Fort Pierce, FL; grandsons, AJ Dunn of Fort Pierce, FL and Tyler Dunn of Colorado; grandson’s wife, Alli Dunn of Colorado; great-grandson, Nathan Dunn; brother, William “Bill” Howard Dunn.

Services:  A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 9, 2023 at 10:30 AM at White City Cemetery, Fort Pierce.
