John Frederick Smith, age 82, died in West Palm Beach, FL on January 14, 2010. He was born in Waretown, NJ and moved to the Treasure Coast area 17 years ago.
He bravely served our country in the US Army and also in the US Navy. He was in building materials sales, and he was an avid golfer.
He is survived by his son; Rev. Todd (Lisa) Smith of Fort Pierce, and his grandson, Kyle Smith of Port St. Lucie.
Memorial contributions may be made to Common Ground Vineyard Church, PO Box 1898, Fort Pierce, FL 34954.
There will be a private service for the family, followed by full military honors from the Norfolk Naval Base at Norfolk, VA, with burial at sea.
