John Edward Ford, 77, died January 26, 2024 in Port St. Lucie, Florida.

Mr. Ford was born in Millen, Georgia and resided in Port St. Lucie, Florida.

John attended Jenkins County Elementary and Port Salerno Middle School. He enjoyed working on cars and storytelling.

Survivors include his brother, James Ramsey of Vero Beach, FL; sisters, Daisy Edwards of Port St. Lucie, FL, Janie Sherman of Palm Bay, FL; son, John Ford, Jr. of Palm Bay, FL; daughter, Mayetta (Ford) Long of Houston, TX; close friend, Wanda McNichols; host of grandchildren, step-children, nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Clara Lawrence, wife, Hadi Ford and sister, Tommie L. Davis.

Services:  Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2024 from 12:00-1:00 PM with a service to follow at 1:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce.
