John George Sfarnas

John G. Sfarnas, 77, died July 23, 2005, in Stuart, Florida.He was born in Pittston, Pennsylvania, and was a resident of Stuart for 20 years, coming from Arlington, Virginia.John was a member of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, Fort Pierce, a veteran of the US Army, an entertainer, traveled extensively, had his private pilot’s license and was a developer/builder.He has been and will continue to be a great inspiration to his six children and 19 grandchildren.John is survived by his wife, Dolores R. Sfarnas of Stuart, Fl; daughters Dolores Bowman of Port St. Lucie, Cynthia G. Angelos of Fort Pierce and Sophia Banks of West Palm Beach, Fl; sons, George Sfarnas, John Sfarnas and Stephen Sfarnas all of Winchester, Virginia; sister, Mary Churpes of Arlington, Va; and 19 grandchildren.Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Treasure Coast, 1201 S.
