John Gibson Hill, Jr. 84, died August 4, 2011, in Fort Pierce, Florida.
John was born in Miami, Florida, and was a resident of Fort Pierce since 1991 coming from Okeechobee, Florida.
He started as lineman with Southern Bell and retired from AT&T as Office Manager/Supervisor, served in the US Navy, was of the Baptist faith, and was a member of the Telephone Pioneer Club.
Survivors include his sister, Irene T. Reeder and niece, Sherel Ann Rogers Goodrich both of Fort Pierce, Florida.
Memorial contributions may be made in John’s memory to Treasure Coast Hospice, 5000 Dunn Road, Fort Pierce, FL 34981.
There will be a Private Family Service. Arrangements are under the direction of Haisley Funeral & Cremation Service.
