Captain John W. Heritage, 65, passed away August 3, 2016 in Port Saint Lucie, Florida.
Captain Heritage moved to Port Saint Lucie, Florida in 2003 coming from Atco, New Jersey.
John was Captain for the City of Camden Fire Department and was employed as a fireman for 26 years. He spent his free time hunting, coin collecting and using his metal detector. John served with the United States Army during the Vietnam War; he received the National Defense Service Medal, the Good Conduct Medal and the Expert M16 Medal.
Survivors include; wife of 42 years, Kathie Heritage of Port Saint Lucie, Florida; sons, Christopher, Matthew and Adam Heritage all of Port Saint Lucie, Florida; brother Charles Heritage of Fernandina Beach, Florida; mother, Dorothy Heritage of Mantua, New Jersey; grandchildren, Aireana, Emma and Robbie Heritage.
