John "Jack" Lindstrom, Sr.

John “Jack” Lindstrom, Sr., 81, loving husband and devoted father, died June 15, 2005 in Ft Pierce, Florida.Mr. Lindstrom was born in Rockford, Illinois and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1970 coming from Illinois.Prior to retirement, he worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 25 years and worked in security at Fort Pierce Central High School for 10 years.He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army during WWII, earned a Purple Heart and won a European African Middle Eastern Campaign Medal. He also played drums for the Praise & Worship Team at Palm Vista Church of God for 10 years.Survivors include his wife, Florence Lindstrom of Ft. Pierce, FL; daughters, Cynthia Koch of Roscoe, IL and Janel Cohen of Ft. Pierce, FL; son, John Lindstrom, Jr. of Ft. Pierce, FL; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and he was predeceased by his daughter, Susan Kay Lindstrom.Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Martin & St. Lucie, 1201 SE Indian Street, Stuart, FL 34997.
