John Daniel “Danny” Jenkins, 70, died October 25, 2014 in Vero Beach, Florida.
Mr. Jenkins was a lifelong resident of Fort Pierce, Florida.
He was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy. He worked on the Alaskan Pipeline and at the South Dakota Missile Silos. He was a very sought out after welder in the United States.
Survivors include his daughters, Diana Harrison of Fort Pierce, FL, Kim Goldstein of Tehachapi, CA, and Kristin Black of Gainesville, FL; sons, John Daniel Jenkins, Jr. of San Marcos, CA, Daniel Nicholas Jenkins of Fort Pierce, FL and Jared Davis Jenkins of Fort Pierce, FL; brothers, Dallis Jenkins of Vero Beach, FL, Jerry Jenkins of Vero Beach, FL, John Jenkins of Perry, FL, Steve Jenkins and Jay Jenkins both of Salt Lake City, UT; 16 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father & mother, John & Doris Jenkins and brother, Donald Jenkins.
Memorial contributions may be made to the VNA Hospice, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
Services: A gathering will be held on Thursday, October 30, 2014 from 4-7 PM with a memorial service at 5:30 PM at 5563 Koblegard Road, Fort Pierce, FL 34951.
