John Joseph Sullivan
John Sullivan, 91, died May 22, 2011 in Port St. Lucie, Florida.
Mr. Sullivan was born in Augusta, Georgia and moved to Ft. Pierce over 50 years ago coming from Atlanta, Georgia.
He was an accountant and a former member of St. Anastasia and St. Mark’s Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He was a veteran of the US Army during WWII.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Research Hospital, ATTN: Memorials, Memphis, TN 38105.
Survivors include his sons, Michael Sullivan of Valrico, FL, Tim Sullivan of Juno Beach, FL, and Shawn Sullivan of Port St. Lucie, FL; daughters Dianne Lovett of Atlanta, GA and Patti Maloof of Grayson, GA; and 2 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, of 51 years, Sue Sullivan.
Services: A visitation will be held Tuesday, May 24, 2011 from 9-10 am at Haisley Funeral Home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM at St. Lucie Catholic Church. Burial will follow at White City Cemetery.
