John M. Allen, 81, died June 26, 2007 in Ft. Pierce, Florida.Mr. Allen was born in Monroe, Georgia and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1966 coming from Winder, Georgia.He worked in road construction for St. Lucie County and was a Veteran of the U.S. Army.Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Thelma Allen of Ft. Pierce, FL; sons, Stan (Kathy) Allen of Winder, GA and Keith (Tina) Allen of Bethlehem, GA; daughter, Johnnie (Steve) Clunn of Ft. Pierce, FL; grandchildren, Eric (Bridgette) Yates of Ft. Pierce, FL, Trina (Steve) Capraro of Clearwater, FL, Danielle (Jimmy) King of Ft. Pierce, FL, John Allen of Bethlehem, GA and Sarah Clunn of Ft. Pierce, FL; brother, Don (Joyce) Allen of Covington, GA; sister, Martha (Charles) McDonald of Winder, GA; 7 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Linda Allen and son, Kenneth Allen.Memorial contributions may be made to the Treasure Coast Hospices, 1201 SE Indian Street, Stuart, FL 34997.Services: Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 28, 2007 from 5-7 PM at Haisley Funeral Home. A service will be conducted on Friday, June 29, 2007 at 1:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
