John “Jack” Roy Norvell, Jr., 92, died November 2, 2018 in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Mr. Norvell was a lifelong resident of Fort Pierce, Florida.
Jack retired as Assistant Chief of Police after 34 years of service with the Fort Pierce Police Department. He was a past President of the Cattleman’s Association, St. Lucie Chapter, Vice Chairman of the Florida State Cattleman’s Association, and was a graduate of the FBI Academy and a member of the 1st Baptist Church of Fort Pierce. He loved to play golf.
Survivors include his wife of 69 years, Wanda Norvell; sons, Richard L. Norvell, Robert W. (Cathy) Norvell and John Russell (Janice) Norvell as well as Lynne Norvell, all of Fort Pierce, FL. Mr. Norvell had 6 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sisters; Vivian Ann Norvell, Patty Marie Fortana, Kathryn Joy Osteen and by his brothers; Charles Lannie Norvell and William Grayson Norvell.

Services: A viewing & visitation will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2018 from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. With a service beginning at 3:00 p.m. at Haisley Funeral Home, 3015 Okeechobee Rd, Fort Pierce, FL.
