Mr. McAndrew was born in Denver, Colorado, and has been a resident of the St. Lucie County area since 1972, coming from Elizabeth, New Jersey.
Jack was the owner of Max and Meg’s Restaurant in downtown Fort Pierce and the former owner of Jake’s Restaurant in Stuart, Florida. He graduated from Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire, was a former board member of the American Bank in Martin County and Orchid Bank in Indian River County, and was a member of many civic organizations.Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Margaret Battaglia McAndrew, of Fort Pierce; sister, Kathleen Meyer of Jensen Beach, Florida, one niece and one grand-niece. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Association, 9900 Nineth Street, North, St. Petersburg, Florida 33716.
