John Reyda
John Reyda, 78, died April 9, 2010 in Fort Pierce, Florida.
John was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey and move to Ft Pierce in 1987.
Mr. Reyda was a member of St Anastasia Catholic Church. He was employed as a Deputy Fire Chief with the city of Elizabeth Fire Department for 31 years and received a BA of Science from Jersey City State College. He served with the US Army during the Korean War where he received a Korean Service Medal with one bronze star and the Korean PUC UN Service Medal with one silver bar. He enjoyed golf, tennis, and fishing and was an avid reader.

Survivors include his wife, of 55 years, Elizabeth Reyda of Ft Pierce, FL; daughters, Nancy Jane Heisler of Madison, NJ and Arlene Elizabeth Bauer of Florham Park, NJ; sons, David John Reyda of Bedminster, NJ and Vincent Anthony Reyda of Madison, NJ; brothers, Stephen Reyda of Kings Park L.I. NY, Andrew Reyda of Scottsdale, AZ, and Joseph Reyda of Cupertino, CA; sister, Anna Reyda of Brick, NJ; 10 grandchildren.
Services: A visitation will be held Monday April 12, 2010 from 10 am - 12 noon with a service to follow at 12:00 noon.
