John Robert Branagan

John Robert Branagan, 86, died December 9, 2010 in Ft Pierce, Florida.
Mr. Branagan was born in Jersey City, New Jersey and moved to Ft Pierce in 1988 coming from Gaithersburg, Maryland.
He served in the US Marine Corp during WWII on USS Battleship New Jersey. He retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company after 42 years and was a member of St Mark’s Catholic Church. He enjoyed college football and was an avid fan of Duke University Basketball and the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Survivors include his wife of 62 years Eileen Branagan of Ft Pierce, FL; daughter Diane Branagan of Falls Church, VA; brother, Raymond Branagan of Roseland, NJ. He was preceded in death by his 4 brothers and 4 sisters.
Services: A visitation will be held Tuesday December 14, 2010 4-7 PM with a Wake Service at 5:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday December 15, 2010 at 10:00 AM at St Mark’s Catholic Church.
