John “Augie” Schade, 80, died July 12, 2013 in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Augie was born in Prospect Park, Pennsylvania, and was a resident of Fort Pierce for the past 40 years, coming from Prospect Park, PA.
He was a night desk manager at the Fort Pierce Bowl for 30 years, served in the US Army during the Korean War and was a lifetime member of the VFW, Post 8058.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Fanny Schade of Fort Pierce, FL; sons, David Gorden Schade of Rutherfordton, NC, John Daniel Schade of Fort Pierce, FL and Michael May of Alva, FL; sister, Betty Hildenbrand of Yardley, PA; brother, James Schade of Ledbetter, KY; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
