John M. Schultz, 67, of Port St. Lucie, Florida passed away at his home on June 23, 2021 with his family.
John was born on May 29, 1954 in Tecumseh, Nebraska to Martin and Anne Schultz. After high school he joined the United States Navy and then transferred to the Navy Reserves. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Berea College in Berea, Kentucky. John would use his degree to be an educator within the Florida School System. On July 5, 1989, he married Norma Worthington in Kissimmee, Florida.
John, known by his family and friends as Johnny B. Fishin’ affectionately, loved fishing and sports fishing, as well as Web Design and Video Games. He was a loving and devoted son, brother, husband, father, and grandfather.
Survivors include, beloved wife, Norma Schultz of Port St. Lucie, FL; sons, Joshua Schultz of Weymouth, MA and Jacob Schultz of Quincy MA; sister, Christy Doty of Council Bluffs, IA; granddaughters, Mia Schultz of Weymouth, MA and Everly Schultz of Quincy, MA; stepdaughters, Joy McNeely of Port St. Lucie, FL and Sherri Bolton of Bell Brook, OH. He was predeceased by his parents, Martin and Anne Schultz; brother, Gale Schultz and sister, Marsha Simmons.
A visitation will be held on Monday, June 28, 2021 from 12PM to 2PM at the Haisley Tribute Center 2041 SW Bayshore Blvd Port St. Lucie, FL 34984.
