John “John the Barber” Simone, Sr., 75, died March 10, 2013 in Sebastian, Florida.
Mr. Simone was born in New Haven, Connecticut and moved to Vero Beach 7 years ago from Port St. Lucie, Florida.
John was the manager of a barber shop. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Debra Simone of Vero Beach, FL; daughters, Ann Marie Banks of Port St. Lucie, FL, Lisa Marie Love of Jamestown, TN, and Simone Simone of Port St. Lucie, FL; sons, John Simone, Jr. of Port St. Lucie, FL and Ralph Simone of Sparta, MI; sisters, Justine Savenelli of New Haven, CT, Patricia Ahern of Branford, CT, Josephine Curello of Port St. Lucie, FL, Mary Lou Perrelli of New Haven, CT and Barbara Perrotti of Cotati, CA; 8 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph Simone, Jr.
