John Stephen Puchel, 86, died March 15, 2006, in Port Saint Lucie, Florida.Mr. Puchel was born in Scotch Plains, NJ, and had been a resident of Port St. Lucie, since 2000, coming from Danielson, CT.He was a laborer in the construction industry. John enjoyed fishing and loved the outdoors.Memorial contributions may be made to the Treasure Coast Hospices, 1201 SE Indian Street, Stuart, Florida 34997.Survivors include his sons, Leigh Puchel and Noel Puchel both of Port St. Lucie, FL. and Jeffrey Puchel of Pickens, SC; daughters, Chris Puchel of Ashford, CT and Mary Heath of Port Richey, FL; brother, Joe Puchel of Scotch Plains, NJ; sisters, Mary Barish of Scotch Plains, NJ and Betty Knezek of Spring Hill, FL; 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
