John was born in Grant County, Indiana and moved to Fort Pierce, Florida in 1963.
He worked in sales for an insurance company. He proudly served in the U.S. Army and was a member of Parkview Baptist.
He is survived by his wife, Edna Trout of Fort Pierce, FL; son, David (Nanette) Trout of Fort Pierce, FL; daughter, Sue (John) Ladner of Deltona, FL; brother, Don Trout of Indiana; 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Wanda Trout.
Memorial contributions can be made to Parkview Baptist Pantry Fund.
Services: A visitation will be held Thursday, November 13, 2014 from 4-6 PM with a service to follow at 6:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home. A burial will be held on Friday, November 14, 2014 at 12:45 PM at South Florida V.A. Cemetery. An online guestbook may be signed at www.haisleyfuneralhome.com
