Mr. Schriner was born in Johnstown, New York and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1960.
He worked for the U.S. Postal Service and was a Veteran of the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Emily Schriner of Ft. Pierce, FL; son, John D. Schriner of Stuart, FL; daughter, Sheila Ford of Debary, FL; and 4 grandchildren.

Services: Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 16, 2011 from 1-2 PM with a service to follow at 2:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home.
