John Vincent Fortnash, Jr., 51, died February 14, 2008 in Port St. Lucie, Florida.Mr. Fortnash was born in North Miami, Florida and moved to Port St. Lucie 22 years ago coming from North Miami.He was a technician for Sony and a mentor at local elementary schools, known as the “Book Exchange Guy”. He loved playing and teaching drums.Survivors include his wife of 5 ½ years, Deborah Fortnash of Port St. Lucie, FL; son, John V. Fortnash, III of Maryland; daughter, Natalie Jean Fortnash of Port St. Lucie, FL; brother, James Fortnash of West Palm Beach, FL; sisters, Kimberly A. Quijano of Davie, FL and Kathryn M. Fortnash of Hollywood, FL; father and step-mother, John, Sr. and Dolores Fortnash of Bushnell, FL; step-children, Andrea and Thomas both of Port St. Lucie, FL; step-grandchild, Blake.Memorial contributions may be made to the I.R.C.C.
