He was born in Fort Pierce, Florida and moved to Syracuse as a child.
John was a farmer. He enjoyed fishing and weight lifting.
Survivors include 5 children and father, John Young, Jr.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, April 30, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Community United Methodist Church, Fort Pierce.
