John Zugay, 79, died April 28, 2017 in Port St. Lucie, Florida.
Mr. Zugay was born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and moved to St. Lucie County in 1975 coming from Fallston, Maryland.
John worked in cafeteria administration in hospitals and colleges before becoming a district manager for Service America Corporation primarily working in correction facilities. He also worked in cafeteria administration for hospitals and colleges. He was a member of St. Bernadette’s Catholic Church. He loved horses, especially Quarter Horses, football and sports in general, food and cooking, taking care of animals and of course his yard and trees.
Survivors include his wife, Elsie Faye Zugay of Port St. Lucie, FL; son, Joseph (Melanie) Zugay of Fellsmere, FL; daughter, Julie (Richard) Sizemore of Fort Pierce, FL; step-daughters, Karen Rago of St. Cloud, FL and Kim Bailey of Rossville, GA; brother, Michael Zugay and grandchildren, Hannah Parkinson, Olivia Zugay, Vincent Zugay, Samantha Thiem, Haleigh Wood, Megan Sizemore, Alexis Rago, Robert Rago, Leanne Rago, Joseph Rago, Zachary Lee, Robin Droigk, Wesley Kosel and Noah Meadows. He was preceded in death by his sister, Rose Reese.
