Jonathan Harris, 63, of Port St. Lucie, FL passed away July 15, 2022 after a long battle with dementia.
Jonathan was born April 12, 1959 in Flint, Michigan to Robert and Ruby (Land) Harris. He graduated from Grand Bland Sr High School, class of 1978. Jon enjoyed helping people as a bagger at Winn Dixie after he moved to Port St. Lucie.
He loved spending time with his family, including extended family. His sister, Sarah, was his partner in crime. They enjoyed meeting for breakfast and lunch, as well as jaunts to shop at Wal-Mart. Jon also loved antique car shows and going on picnics.
Jon was a Christian, he loved spending time at church. He has joined his mother and father, and other family members in Heaven.
He will be greatly missed by his siblings, David (Helen) Harris of Paris, MI, Sarah (Frank) Harris of Port St. Lucie, FL, Martha (Dave) Hanley of Lapeer, MI, Frank (Aurora) Harris of Tracey, CA; stepbrothers, Darryl (Lori) Devaney of Wichita KS and Philip (Gail) Devaney of Britton MI; daughter, Crystal (Zach) Harris of Midland, AL and son, Jeremy (Lynzi) Harris of Frankfort, IN; as well as 6 grandsons and 1 granddaughter; 3 nieces and 4 nephews. Jon was preceded to Heaven by his father Robert C. Harris and mother, Ruby A. Land.
In honor of Jon’s love of picnics, family gatherings and bar-b-ques, his family will hold a Celebration of Life Bar-B-Que at a later date. He was always pacing back and forth with his plate in his hand and his utensils in his shirt pocket, first in line! Goodbye Jonboy, we all love you.
