Jorge D. Corripio, 64, of Port St. Lucie, Florida passed away peacefully surrounded by his beloved family April 3, 2022.
Jorge was born January 5, 1958 in Cuba to Segundo and Josefa Corripio. He and his family fled Castro's Cuba in the 1960s to Spain, then immigrated to the US. He received his Bachelor's degree from the University of Florida College of Pharmacy. Jorge worked as a pharmacist for 33 years in St. Lucie County. He married his beloved Brenda on December 30, 1995.
Jorge was a quiet, gentle, faith-led, family man. Jorge devoted his life to his children’s talents and passions. He was a devoted single father to Christina, tennis coach to Carsen, soccer spectator to Kasey and basketball rebounder to Samuel. Jorge worked tirelessly to support his large family and provide them with all necessities to pursue their dreams.
Jorge enjoyed surfing, snow skiing, golf, and movies. He loved dogs and nature. He also found pleasure in the wind, the trees, and the flowers. He was a loyal son and brother and cherished all memories of his Cuban upbringing and his loving home life with his parents and 4 brothers.
He will be missed by his beloved bride of 26 years, Brenda Corripio of Port St. Lucie, FL; his devoted children, Christina (Ryan) Mattes, Carsen Corripio, Kasey Corripio and Samuel Corripio, all of Port St. Lucie, Florida; mother, Josefa Corripio of Boynton Beach, Florida; brothers, Segundo (Norma) Corripio, Eduardo (Caite) Corripio, Joseph Corripio, and Christopher (Heidi) Corripio. He will join his father, Segundo, who preceded him.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at 10AM at St. Bernadette Catholic Church 350 NW California Blvd Port St. Lucie, FL.
