Jose Mathew was the second of six children, born to Mathai and Mariyamma Kuruvila (Naduvilaparambil Family) in Kumarakom, India on March 15, 1934. He belongs to St John Nepumseanos Knanaya Catholic Church, Kumarakom. Jose was a very sincere and God-fearing man with very strong moral values. Jose was a family-oriented person and was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was extremely attached to his siblings and placed a lot of importance to family relationships. Jose was a very hardworking individual and seldom rested doing all his duties with utmost sincerity.
Jose Mathew passed away on March 16, 2023, in Fort Pierce, Florida.
He spent 57 beautiful years with his beloved wife, Juliyana (Aniamma) Jose from Theruvakattil Family, Neezhoor, India.
Their eldest daughter, Ajai C. Samuel married Cheriyan C. Samuel from Cheruthaleth Meppurath Family in Ranni, Kerala, India. They currently reside in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Their son, Jinoy Jose married Merlyn Mathew from Paremyalil Family in Kallara, Kerala, India. They currently reside at Fort Pierce, Florida. They are members of the St. Jude Knanaya Catholic Church of South Florida.
Their youngest daughter, Freney John married John P. Kurian (Baiju) from Valiyaparambil Family in Nattakom, India. They currently reside at Cheruvaly Estate in Erumely, Kerala.
He was blessed with 7 grandchildren – Kevin Samuel, Robin Samuel, Ryan Samuel, Jose Mathew, Mathew Mathew, Melisa John and Annie John.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023 from 9 AM to 11 AM at Haisley Funeral Home (3015 Okeechobee Road, Fort Pierce, FL 34947) with a service at 12 PM at Saint Anastasia Catholic Church (407 S 33rd Street, Fort Pierce, FL 34947). A burial will follow at White City Cemetery (3800 Sunrise Blvd, Fort Pierce, FL 34982). All are invited for lunch that will be provided at Saint Anastasia Catholic Church in the Parish Center following the burial ceremony.
