Joseph Cura, 91, died September 28, 2012 in Vero Beach, Florida.
Mr. Cura was born in Providence, Rhode Island, and was a resident of Fort Pierce for the past 30 years, coming from Fort Lauderdale, FL.
Joseph retired from Baxter International in Chicago, Illinois. He was a member of St. Anastasia Catholic Church, was a professional musician and played at various hotels in Miami and Miami Beach, Florida with many well known big bands. He enjoyed music, traveling, cooking and was a member of Musicians Union Local 655 in Miami, FL and Local 198 in Providence, RI.
Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Eileen Cura of Fort Pierce, FL and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made in Joseph’s memory to the American Heart Association, P. O. Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284.
