Joseph E. Aubin, Jr.

Joseph E. Aubin, Jr., 81, died February 28, 2007 in Vero Beach, Florida.Mr. Aubin was born in Fitchburg, Massachusetts and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1981 coming from Fitchburg.He was an Usher and Eucharistic Minister at St. Anastasia Catholic Church where he was also a member of the Men’s Club and maintained the church for several years. He was a 3rd and 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus, D.A.V., V.F.W. Post 40, Ft. Pierce, B.P.O.E. (Elks) #248, Ft. Pierce, Veteran of the U.S. Navy during WWII and serving aboard the U.S.S. Robert E. Perry and member of the Reunion Group.Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Rita Aubin of Ft. Pierce, FL; sons, Wayne G. Aubin of Melbourne, FL and Lawrence Aubin of Logan, OH; brother, Charles Aubin of Texas; sisters, Marie Lizotte of South Carolina, Jean Ruel of Dade City, FL, Pauline Peloquin of Leominster, MA and Lucy Larcineare of Lunenburg, MA and 8 grandchildren.Memorial contributions may be made to St. Anastasia’s Catholic School, 401 S. 33rd Street, Fort Pierce, FL 34947 or to VNA Hospice, 901 37th Street, Vero Beach, FL 32960
