Joseph Dominick Greco, 90, died January 31, 2015 in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Mr. Greco was born in Calabria, Italy. Originally from the Bronx and Astoria, NY, Mr. Greco moved to Deerfield Beach in 1991, then to Port Saint Lucie in 1998 .
Joseph served in the US Army during WWII and was a Purple Heart recipient. He was in the building construction business and retired as building superintendent for Slattery Corporation in New York. He was an avid athlete; a professional handball player in New York, played tennis, bowling, and bocce, but his latest passion was golf. Joseph was a very devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great- grandfather and was always available to help out with anyone’s needs. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.

Survivors include his wife, of 68 years, Mary Rose Greco of Port St. Lucie, FL; daughter Janet, husband Robert Klepacki of Clinton, CT; granddaughter, Jennifer, husband Kristen Panella of Wantaugh, NY; great-grandchildren, Matthew, Joseph, and Ava; brothers, Dominick, Albert, Mario, and Benito Greco. He was preceded in death by his parents, Domenick and Concetta Greco and brothers, Tony and Ralph Greco.
