Joseph Page Hargett

Joseph Page Hargett, 85, died March 5, 2004, at the Port St. Lucie Nursing and Restorative Care Center.He was born in Marshville, NC, and was a resident of Fort Pierce for 45 years, coming from Marshville.Prior to his retirement, he was a welder with Dickerson, Inc. in Stuart, and a welder with North Carolina Ship Building in Wilmington, NC, during World War II.He was a member of Westside Baptist Church, Fort Pierce.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Jean Jordan Hargett; son and daughter-in-law, Bob and Jane Hargett of Fort Pierce; brother, William Hargett of Marshville, NC; sisters, Jerri Funderburk of Charlotte, NC and Dianne Carter of Wingate, NC.Memorial contributions may be made to Westside Baptist Church Building Fund, 3361 S.
