Joseph Andrew Sessa

Joseph Andrew Sessa, 87, of Fort Pierce, Florida, passed away on August 5, 2023. He was born on April 9, 1936, in Trenton, New Jersey. Joe, as he was affectionately known, served in the Navy, proudly dedicating his time to the military. After his service, he pursued a career at United Parcel Service (UPS) for 25 years.

Outside of work, Joe had a zest for life and pursued various hobbies. He was an avid fisherman, golfer, and had a green thumb when it came to growing orchids. These pastimes brought him joy and allowed him to connect with nature.

Joe is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Joanne Sessa, his son John Sessa, daughter-in-law Julie Sessa, and cherished granddaughter Jenn Sessa. He was predeceased by his son, Joseph A. Sessa, Jr.

To honor Joe's memory, a gathering will be held on August 26, 2023 from 10:00-11:00 am with a memorial service to start at 11:00 am at Haisley Funeral Home in Fort Pierce, located at 3015 Okeechobee Road.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the VNA Hospice of Vero Beach, Florida. Contributions to this organization will support their compassionate work in providing hospice care.
