Josephine Ann Hood

Josephine Ann Hood, 94, died May 28, 2018 in Port St. Lucie, Florida.

Mrs. Hood was a lifelong resident of Fort Pierce, Florida.

She loved flowers, the outdoors, gardening, birds, raising her 9 children, going to Mass. She was very involved at St. Anastasia Catholic Church and very proud of her affiliation with the citrus industry.

Survivors include her sons, Thomas (Sue) Hood of Port St. Lucie, FL, Michael Hood, Patrick (Suzette) Hood, Nick (Janet) Hood and Christopher (Jeannie) Hood all of Fort Pierce, FL; daughters, Bernadette (Tom) Mace, Angela (Larry) Noelke and Therese (Mark) Hamilton all of Fort Pierce, FL; grandchildren, Jill, Ricky, Maria, Joey, Tony, Chris, Rachel, Ashley, Aaron, Eric, Brittany, Ashley, Emily, Jessica, Matthew, and Nicole; great-grandchildren, Joe, Kate, Lara, Elise, Michael, Joey, Allison, Weston, Alexander, Hailey, Jackson, Parker, Benjamin, Jesse and Claire. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Catherine Lulves and husband, Thomas Hood.

Services: Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 31, 2018 from 4-6 PM with a Wake Service at 5:30 PM at Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, June 1, 2018 at 10:00 AM at St. Anastasia Catholic Church, Fort Pierce. Burial will follow at Riverview Memorial Park.
