Josephine Ursula Testa, age 96, died on January 14, 2011 in Fort Pierce, FL.
She was born in Brooklyn, NY and moved to Port St. Lucie in 1973, coming from West Hempstead, Long Island, NY.
She was a homemaker, a member of the Fort Pierce Elkettes and was the club photographer for many years. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas, the Spanish Lakes #1 Women’s Club, and she loved to paint.
She is survived by her sons, Leo S. Testa of Riverhead, NY and Leonard Testa of Port St. Lucie, FL; 12 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Paul A. Testa, Sr., and her husband, Leo Testa.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospices of the Treasure Coast, 5000 Dunn Road, Fort Pierce, FL 34981.
Friends may call on Tuesday, January 18, from 4-6PM, with a Prayer Service at 6PM, followed by a Fort Pierce Elkettes Service, at the Haisley Funeral Home Chapel. A reception will follow.
