Joyce Ann Leiphon, 63, passed away on March 30, 2017 in Melbourne, Florida.
Ms. Leiphon was born in Central City, Kentucky and moved to Port Saint Lucie in 1984.
Joyce dedicated her life to the Kingdom of God. She was the pastor at Light of the World Church in Fort Pierce and transformed the lives of many people. Her greatest joy in life was to preach the gospel and to see people get saved, healed and delivered by the supernatural power of God. Prior to her ministry she worked for the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s office. She loved her children and grandchildren with all her heart and enjoyed spending her free time with them. She was a light in this world and will be forever missed.
Survivors include her son, Jeff (Heather) Jackson of Port St. Lucie, FL; daughter, Kristi Jackson of Port St. Lucie, FL; mother, Helen Cecil of Bardstown, KY; brothers, Freddy Cecil of Owensboro, KY, Bobby Cecil of Jacksonville, FL, Randy Cecil of Louisville, KY and Johnny Cecil of Louisville, KY; sisters, Gail Cecil of Louisville, KY, Betty Riggs of Crestwood, KY, Susan Christison of Fort Pierce, FL, Pat Marion of St. Louis, MO and Janice Street of Bardstown, KY; grandchildren, Madison, Jeffrey, and Robbie Jackson. She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Cecil.
Services: Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 2, 2017 from 5-7 PM at Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce. A service will be held on Monday, April 3, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at White City Cemetery.
