Joyce Martine Lewis Logsdon, 67, of Ft. Pierce, Florida was promoted to Glory on Thursday, January 12, 2012. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother to both biologically and adopted.
She spent many years in loving service to the community through The Salvation Army. “Nanny”, (as she was known to all) had a special love for children; and her loving influence and training has molded many lives at Loving Care Childhood Development Center. She was an avid ‘Bingo’ player who exhibited an enthusiastic lust for life and will be in our hearts forever.

She will be greatly missed by her family including her beloved husband, of 52 years, Duke Logsdon; twin-sister Joan Buster Hills; Tommy (Mary) Logsdon, Chris (Stacy) Logsdon, Jerry (Susan) Bellamy, Bryan (Candi) Bellamy, Teresa (Tom) Atkins, Linda (Jimmy) Barton, Randy (Sandy) McDaniel, and Jamie Tomlinson; 23 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Tommy and Jerry Lewis, sisters, Janet Sohm and Renee Lewis, father, E.M. Lewis, and mother, Evelyn Lewis.
Services: A visitation will be held Monday, January 16, 2012 from 5-7 PM at Haisley Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at 7:00 PM at Westside Baptist Church.
