Joyce Ellen Oubari, 74, died January 22, 2013 in Ft. Pierce, Florida.
Mrs. Oubari was born in Washington, District of Columbia and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1975 coming from New York.
She was Department Chairperson of the Medical Assisting Program at Indian River State College and previously was a Nursing Recruiter for Lawnwood Regional Medical Center. Her passion was teaching. She also enjoyed spending time with family and loved her grandchildren dearly. She enjoyed animals, art, museums, painting, and shopping. She was a member of the American Association of the University of Women, Vero Beach Chapter. She also Co-Authored & Published The Book “Raising Employees”.
Survivors include her daughter, Rabia Lynn Oubari of Clearwater, FL; sons, Izzet Ahmed Oubari of Deerfield Beach, FL and Rahim Oubari of Hamptons, NY; companion, Robert Leveille of Ft. Pierce, FL; 2 grandchildren, Michael C. Oubari of Maryland and Zahara Ellen Plecas of Clearwater, FL; brothers, Thomas J. Beavers, Jr. of Maryland, Richard D. Beavers of Maryland and Michael G. Smart of Vero Beach, FL; sister, Edith A. Cason of South Carolina; stepchildren, Daneille Flores and Rob Leveille; step grandchildren, Ryan, Salvadore and Alondra Flores. She was preceded in death by her sister, Nancy E. Darr and mother, Mary E. Brown and father, Thomas J. Beavers, Sr.
