Joyce E. Realini-Krzan (Kerr), 64, of Port St. Lucie, Florida, Joyce passed away peacefully on January 11, 2021 after a long illness. She was predeceased by her husband Thomas Krzan.
Joyce was born in Natick, Massachusetts to Donald F. and Anne E. Kerr. She graduated from Nipmuc Regional High School in Mendon, MA. She worked at Valpey Fisher Company, Hopkinton, MA and Waters Corporation, Milford, MA. As a youngster, Joyce enjoyed time on North Pond in Upton, Massachusetts where she loved being outside surrounded by her pets and nature. She later lived in Rhode Island and in Florida where, Ming, her loyal dog, provided her with much companionship and comfort during her illness.
She is survived by her brother Tom and wife Karen Kerr of Upton, MA; her sister Nancy Bassett and husband Bob Reed of Upton, MA and her sister Catherine Kerr and husband Ted Hatch of Winthrop, ME. She leaves behind four nephews; Jason Bassett and partner Jen Hays of Ocean Park, ME, Nathan and Christal Bassett of Milan, TN, Matthew and Adrianna Kerr of Upton, MA and Aron and Elizabeth Kerr of Deerfield, NH. Her two step-daughters Gina Ferrante and Sherry Greene and her brother-in-law Donald Krzan resides in Florida. Her sister-in-law Donna Amaral resides in Rhode Island. She will be greatly missed by her two close friends; Cheryl Kempton and Bambi Cote and her longtime caretaker MaryAnn Pomata.
Due to pandemic constraints a celebration of Joyce’s life will be planned for a future date. Her family is grateful to Emerald Health Care in Port St. Lucie, FL for their kindness and professionalism during her final days.
