Joycelyn Keen Thomas

Joycelyn Keen Thomas, 81, died April 22, 2013, in Fort Pierce, Florida.

She was a native of Fort Pierce, FL. The majority of her career was spent in the newspaper industry in Sales and Delivery, as well as a school bus driver for the St. Lucie County School District. She was a member of Westside Baptist Church, participating in the Seniors Group & Women’s Group.

Survivors include her daughters, Terri Taylor and Dale van der Lugt both of Fort Pierce, FL; sons, Marshall Summerlin of Vero Beach, FL and Paul Summerlin of Lakeland, FL; brother, Bunnie Keen of Fort Pierce, FL; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Thomas, brother, Terrell Keen and sister Evelyn Tate.
