Judith Kay Westberry, 59 of Port St. Lucie, FL passed away peacefully surrounded by those she loved March 5, 2024.
Judy was born April 4, 1964 to Edward and Janis (Lundblad) Van Steenburgh in Japan.
Traveling the world with her parents, Judy enjoyed recalling as many details from all the places she traveled to as she could. This also cultivated in her a love of traveling and collecting artifacts, especially Japanese artifacts, and lions. Judy attended college and received her bachelor’s degree in education, she later taught students with special needs for ten years.
Judy and her family moved to Florida in 2018 coming from Virginia.
Judy had a love of literature and was especially fond of the “Twilight” series. She could often be found wearing her beloved fuzzy socks. Judy was a crafting queen with a particular knack for sewing and absolutely loved the color purple.
Most importantly, Judy was a mom, and she loved her children more than anything and anyone. She will be deeply missed by her daughters, Nicole (Roberto) Moreno of Port St. Lucie, Danielle Westberry of Houston and son, Sean Westberry of Gainesville; her parents Janis and Ed Van Steenburgh of Port St. Lucie and her brother John Van Steenburgh of Alabama. She was predeceased by her husband, Michael and her sister, Linda Van Steenburgh.
A Celebration of Life will be held March 13, 2024 from 5PM to 6PM with a Memorial Service to start at 6PM at the Haisley Tribute Center 2041 SW Bayshore Blvd Port St. Lucie, FL 34984.
