Mrs. Comfort was born in Chillicothe, Ohio and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1961.
She worked for the St. Lucie County School Board for 27 years.
Survivors include her husband of 15 years, Brian Comfort of Ft. Pierce, FL; daughters, Julienne Beebe of Vero Beach, FL and Rebecca Harris of Killeen, TX; mother, Ruth Cole of Ft. Pierce, FL; father, Ronald Cole of Ft. Pierce, FL; 2 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Ron Gregory.
