Julia Patricia Fitzsimons, 83, died April 2, 2019 in Port St. Lucie, Florida.
Mrs. Fitzsimons was born in London, England to Thomas & Annie Stephens and moved to St. Lucie County in 1974 coming from Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
She volunteered at St. Anastasia Catholic Church and John Carroll High School, working in the rectory at St. Anastasia for several years. She also worked at Belk department store and Wal-Mart.
Survivors include her husband, James Fitzsimons; sons, Dale (Linda) Wills of Jupiter, FL and James (fiancé Stephanie) Wills of Fort Pierce, FL; stepdaughter, Marian Fitzsimons of Cochranville, PA; brothers, Tommie Stephens of UK and John Stephens of Australia; and grandchildren, Wyatt, Garrett, Morgan, Zachary and Savannah Wills.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mark’s Catholic Church, 1924 Zephyr Avenue, Fort Pierce, FL 34982.
Services: Visitation will be held on Friday, April 5, 2019 from 5-7 PM with a Wake Service at 6:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2019 at 11:00 AM at St. Mark’s Catholic Church, Fort Pierce. Burial will follow at Riverview Memorial Park.
