Julie Katherine Mayne
Fort Pierce, Florida
Julie K. Mayne, 59, passed away October 14, 2015 in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Everyone that Julie knew was family. She had no enemies and didn’t hold an ounce of hate in her heart for anyone. She truly had a heart of gold. If there was someone in need she was there to help. While Julie only had two biological children, she actually had many, many more children. Julie became a part of the life of so many people that needed a place to stay, a few kind words, or someone to just listen without Judgment. Julie’s heart was truly open to everyone. If you ever went to her house on Thanksgiving you know that there was always a new “family” member there every year. She enjoyed playing hostess and was always there to make sure you had a good time.
Julie’s only complaint during her entire fight was that she could no longer sing. Julie loved to sing, we would all joke with each other about how it just happens. One minute you are listening to the radio and before you know it you are singing and didn’t even realize you were. Julie was a part of the praise team and it was truly something special for her. The team was family to her and held them near to her heart.
Julie was a hair stylist for most of her life and in that time she touched many people’s lives. From first haircuts, weddings, proms, graduations and more Julie was always there and wanted to be a part of that moment. Julie always asked how you were and she was truly interested in how each of your family members were and would offer advice if you needed it or just listened if that was what you needed. She always knew the right thing to do and wanted to help any way she could.
Julie was a loving mother, friend and person. You may believe that you can only be an angel once you have moved to heaven. Julie proves that wrong because she was just as much an angel here on earth as she is in heaven. Julie is survived by her daughter, Amy; son, Jason; brothers, Wesley and Danny Mayne. Julie will be truly missed and will forever be in our hearts.
