June Pannell, 76, passed away peacefully on October 10, 2013 in Fort Pierce, Florida, surrounded by her family.
June was born in Baltimore, Maryland, where she started her family and lived for 40+ years. She moved to Shreveport, Louisiana in 1981, and she formed lasting friendships over the next 19 years before retiring to Fort Pierce with her husband in 2000. She was an intelligent, determined woman who proudly accomplished a lifelong goal in her 50’s by earning her GED. Kind-hearted and deeply compassionate, June was beloved by everyone she met, most of all by her husband, two sons and five grandchildren to whom she devoted her whole life, heart and soul.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Charles (Chuck) Pannell of Fort Pierce, Florida; sons, Paul Youngman and wife, Christy of Bel Air, Maryland, and Charles (Chuck) Pannell and wife, Ryan of Flower Mound, TX; grandsons, Christian and Matthew Youngman; granddaughters, Laura Youngman, Reese Pannell & Chandler Pannell.
The family held a private celebration of June’s life.
